the only german date of the Melechesh mini-tour took place in Essen and I went there to make a few shots. Unfortunately there were not many people there that evening, but Melechesh made a great show and played all their great tracks.

I just came back from the concert of End Of Green. They played in Bochum today to present their new album called “High Hopes In Low Places”. I also made an interview with them tonight, which I post later on.

Hey folks,
yesterday I had the chance to shoot AIRBOURNE in Bochum (Ruhrcongress). The show was great, so the light was – I guess I never had such a good light at a concert. It was easy to get nice shots, so feel free to check the gallery HERE.
There are a few other concerts coming the next weeks. I look forward to Melechesh who play in Essen on Dec 4th.

So folks,
I uploaded a few new pics from this week:
On tuesday I was in Cologne to photograph Annihilator, but since the venue was so full and dark I didn´t enjoy to make photos at all. But at least there are some backstageshots of Dave Padden, so go HERE to see the pics.
The day after I visited the Turock in Essen again for the Black Trolls Over Europe-Tour. Check out the pics of Negura Bunget, Black Messiah, Adorned Brood, Nomans Land, Heathen Foray and Dyrathor HERE!
Actually I wanted to see Helheim und Menhir today, but I am ill and need some time to recover! ;( Let´s see what happens next week!

Hey there,
I was damn busy with writing articles (e.g. interviews and reviews) the last 2-3 weeks, so that I had hardly time to make photos.
On September 22nd I visited the Photokina in Cologne and was very impressed by the 3D-Videos. Although I don´t care about moving images at all, that videos were very cool. But don´t panic, I don´t want to become a movie-girl. I keep my photocamera in my hands and that´s it!
The new Canon 60D didn´t impress me that much tho. I don´t want to have all that gimmicks like HD video function, Vari-angle LCD. I am still quite satisfied with my 40D. Well of course there are always better cameras…that will never change!
But I made some pictures as well… last saturday I visited the gothic-fashionshow I already told you about. I guess I can show you some pics here within the next days. That was very special again for me, since it differs from a concert very much. I had fun!
Tomorrow I am going to visit the Helvete again which is located in Oberhausen. Denial Of God are going to play. Today I miss Heretic, but I have problems with my health and so I try to save some powers for tomorrow. There will be photos of it as well. (Nope…sorry!)
On tuesday I am in Cologne again to make photos of Annihilator and the Black Troll Over Europe-Tour will stop in Essen on wednesday. My cam and me look forward to see Negura Bunget and the other bands.
You see it isn´t as boring as it seems! 😉

yesterday I visited the concert of Watain, but my cam was at home I just enjoyed the show and a few drinks. 😉 Nonetheless there will be pictures of it by my collegue Daniel.

Next weekend there is something new for me too… after shooting the wedding I am heading to my first fashionshow. So I guess I can show some pics here as well. The fashionshow takes place in Essen – Zeche Carl and deals with gothic fashion. No ugly metalheads this time! 😉

I am already busy again, but this time not with music, but with a wedding. I had the chance to shoot a Metal-Wedding last week and that was pretty cool. I hope there will be more shootings like that. It was funny!
I look forward to the next concerts (tomorrow I am in Essen to see Marduk) and I especially look forward to the Photokina in Cologne.
